Job summary

Charter Schools USA is seeking a Part-Time Day Custodian to keep school facilities clean, safe, and well maintained. The role involves interior and exterior cleaning, waste removal, restroom sterilization, and assisting with maintenance projects across CSUSA schools.

The position emphasizes adherence to OSHA guidelines, safety procedures, and the ability to travel between nearby campuses as needed. High school diploma and at least 1 year janitorial experience are required.

Qualifications

• Education — minimum high school graduate.
• Experience — a minimum of 1 year of janitorial trade experience.
• Special Qualifications — must possess the above knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• May perform other duties assigned.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas: interior (hallways, restrooms, offices, classrooms, multi-purpose room).
• Exterior areas: perimeter, parking lot, playground, windows, etc.
• Empty trash; dust FF&E, sills, vents; sterilize restrooms.
• Remove waste from cafeteria; assist with cleaning tables; keep floors clean.
• Sterilize high-use areas to reduce bacteria; assist with maintenance projects.
• Travel to nearby schools or warehouse/storage may be required.
• Follow OSHA and safety procedures; report emergencies as needed.
