Job summary

Charter Schools USA is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Day Custodian to keep school facilities clean, safe, and well maintained. You will perform thorough cleaning of interior and exterior areas, support cafeteria cleanliness, and assist with maintenance tasks while adhering to safety protocols.

Ideal candidates have at least a high school diploma and 1 year of janitorial experience, with the ability to lift and move objects and travel between local campuses as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of janitorial experience.
• Ability to perform physical duties and lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas including hallways, restrooms, offices, classrooms, and multi-purpose rooms.
• Clean exterior areas: building perimeter, parking lot, windows, and surrounding areas.
• Empty trash; dust surfaces; sterilize restrooms; clean and maintain cafeteria surfaces and tables.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and safety compliance; follow OSHA guidelines.
• Travel between nearby schools or storage facilities as needed; participate in training programs.
