Job summary

Charter Schools USA (CSUSA) is seeking a Part-Time Day Custodian to keep school facilities clean, safe and well maintained. You will clean interior areas, supervise trash removal, and support sanitation across classrooms, offices and common spaces.

The role requires a minimum high school graduate and at least one year of janitorial experience, with a focus on safety and reliability. Travel between sites may be required as part of maintaining multiple campuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school graduate with continuing education in construction or facilities related.
• A minimum of 1 year of janitorial trade experience.
• Must possess the above knowledge, skills, and abilities (Skills and Knowledge).

Responsibilities

• Clean interior areas including hallways, restrooms, offices, classrooms, multi-purpose room and other areas as assigned.
• Clean exterior areas such as building perimeter, parking lot, playgrounds, windows and other areas as assigned.
• Remove trash from all receptacles; sanitize restrooms and maintain cleanliness of cafeteria tables and floors.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA guidelines; respond to emergencies as needed.
• Travel between nearby schools or warehouses if required.
