Job summary

Charter Schools USA is seeking a Part-Time Day Custodian to keep school facilities clean, safe, and well-maintained. You will clean interior areas such as halls, restrooms, classrooms, and offices, and you may assist with exterior cleaning, cafeteria duties, and basic maintenance tasks.

The role requires staying on site during shifts and adhering to safety protocols. The position emphasizes reliable attendance, ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to maintaining a healthy learning

Qualifications

• Minimum high school graduate with continuing education in construction or facilities-related.
• At least 1 year of janitorial experience.
• Must possess the above knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• May perform other duties assigned.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned interior areas: hallways, restrooms, offices, classrooms, and multi-purpose rooms.
• Clean exterior areas: perimeter, parking lot, playground, windows and related spaces.
• Empty trash and dust FF&E, windowsills, vents and similar surfaces.
• Sterilize restroom facilities and manage waste in cafeteria areas.
• Assist with cleaning projects and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Follow OSHA safety procedures and company policies.
• Remain on site during shift and report emergencies as needed.
