Job summary

Missoula YMCA seeks a Daytime Child Watch Staff to oversee child watch during weekday hours and ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the program. You will lead developmentally appropriate activities, engage with children, families, and supervisors, and model the YMCA core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work with children ages 0-12 and communicate clearly with families.
• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent; CPR/First Aid/Child Abuse Training certification.
• Satisfactory background check is required.
• Ability to attend trainings and meetings as required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety of the children in the program.
• Lead developmentally appropriate activities and model YMCA core values.
• Check participants in/out and document behaviors.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of facilities.
• Provide care to infants including feeding and diaper changes.
