Job summary

Southern District YMCA is seeking a Child Watch team member to care for children ages 6 months through 6 years while parents participate in YMCA programs. The role emphasizes a warm, safe, and engaging environment.

Schedule: part-time, 3–4 days per week with occasional Saturday shifts from 8:30 am to 11:00 am at $14 per hour. Candidates must be at least 16 years old and provide reliable, friendly service.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.

• Minimum age 16 years old.
• Prior experience with infants/young children preferred.
• Organized and detail oriented.
