Job summary

Jobot in Hartford, CT seeks a Pediatric RN Manager for an on-site, permanent leadership role within an outpatient pediatric department. The role is approximately 70% clinical and 30% administrative, overseeing RNs, Medical Assistants, and Care Coordination staff.

You will drive clinical workflows, patient throughput, and quality of care, while partnering with clinical leadership to mentor staff and implement process improvements in a mission-driven community health setting.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut Registered Nurse license.
• 2+ years of RN experience in pediatrics and/or an outpatient or ambulatory setting.
• Pediatric experience strongly preferred; candidates with strong outpatient experience will also be considered.
• Prior nurse leadership, management, or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day nursing and clinical support operations within Pediatrics.
• Lead and support RNs, Medical Assistants, and Care Coordination staff.
• Improve clinical workflows, patient throughput, and department processes.
• Oversee triage, medication processes, point-of-care testing, and clinical compliance.
• Provide direct patient care when needed and support quality improvement initiatives.
