Job summary

ProHealth Physicians, part of the Optum family, is seeking an experienced RN to join the Pediatrics department in Branford, CT. This full-time role is 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday 8am-6pm, supporting clinical operations and patient care.

You will oversee CLIA competencies, coordinate staffing, document in the EHR, provide injections and preventive care, and educate patients while maintaining confidentiality. Connecticut RN licensure and pediatrics experience required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• CT RN license.
• 2+ years of experience in acute or primary care setting.
• 2+ years of Pediatrics experience.
• Proficient computer knowledge and aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of the medical team's CLIA competences.
• Provide performance oversight of the medical team.
• Participate in monthly team meetings to provide clinical operations oversight.
• Coordinates all clinical staffing on a monthly/yearly basis.
• Order supplies and vaccines and maintain appropriate records; prepare equipment including sterilization.
• Serve as liaison between patients, staff and providers.
• Document patient interactions and clinical activities in the EHR.
• Provide patient care and education and assist in coordinating services.
