Job summary

UPMC Community Medicine Incorporated in Aspinwall is hiring a full-time Professional Staff Nurse, OP to join PrimeCare Medical Associates. The nurse will support clinical staff and maintain collaborative relationships with physicians, patients, and families to achieve optimal outcomes.

Hours are Monday through Friday, daylight hours, with no evenings, weekends or holidays. BSN preferred; previous nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). CPR certification required based on AHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in quality improvement efforts and patient satisfaction initiatives.
• Establishes collaborative relationships with physicians, other health care providers, patients and families.
• Provides patient care activities through independent judgment and teamwork.
• Coordinates care and communicates effectively with all members of the care team.
• Demonstrates knowledge of patient education and supports learning for patients and families.
