UPMC is seeking a full-time Professional Staff Nurse, OP to join its pediatrics-support team. The Registered Nurse will set care standards, oversee a patient group, and collaborate with physicians and families to achieve optimal outcomes. The role emphasizes education, teamwork and ongoing professional development.

Qualificações

• Must hold a current Registered Nurse license (RN).
• Experience in pediatric care or a pediatric-focused setting is advantageous.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and healthcare teams.

Responsabilidades

• Participates in quality improvement and enhances patient satisfaction.
• Builds positive relationships with staff, physicians, and patients.
• Teaches patients and families using adult learning principles.
• Plans and coordinates care with physicians; conducts assessment and education.
