Job summary

UPMC Valley Family Medicine in Natrona Heights is seeking a full-time Professional Staff Nurse, OP, with a Monday–Friday schedule. The role splits between Valley Family Medicine (Natrona Heights) and PrimeCare Medical Associates (Aspinwall), PA, providing care across two offices.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license (PA or compact) with BSN preferred, and has strong patient-care and communication skills. BSN preferred and eligibility for licensure within required timeframe is expected.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in PA or compact state.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong patient-care and communication skills.
• Graduates must complete licensure in required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in quality improvement initiatives.
• Establishes positive relationships with patients, families and staff.
• Delivers direct patient care and coordinates with physicians and team.
• Documents patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Demonstrates critical thinking in evaluating patient needs and care plans.
• Maintains safe work hours and supports the care team.
