HomeGrown is a daytime breakfast/brunch spot and part of Thrive Restaurant Group. We start early and finish by 3:30 pm, offering a friendly, team-oriented kitchen environment focused on kindness and quality.

This Line Cook role handles prep and station work, ensuring recipes and presentations meet our standards. As a Line Cook you’ll train across kitchen roles, contribute to a high-volume scratch kitchen, and help deliver delicious, consistent meals.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow recipes exactly.
• Fast, accurate, and safe in a high paced kitchen.
• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to help with dishes, prep, and other stations.
• Attention to detail.
• Capable of using knives and slicing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to HomeGrown's recipes, plate presentations and specifications (60%).
• Complete all assigned prep work, following recipes exactly as written (15%).
• Set up workstation (5%).
• Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times (10%).
• Clean and sanitize the work area before, during and after shift (5%).
• Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects (5%).
