Job summary

Always Best Care is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home care, companionship, and everyday encouragement to older adults in Seattle and surrounding communities.

Pay ranges from $23–$25 per hour based on certification and experience, with daytime shifts available across Downtown Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, Capitol Hill, the University District, West Seattle, Renton, and nearby areas.

Qualifications

• CNA or HCA certification required.
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• One year or more of experience supporting older adults is preferred.
• Clear background check and drug test are required.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, conversation, encouragement, and a friendly presence.
• Assist with personal care, meal preparation, daily routines, and light household tasks.
• Keep client homes clean, safe, and welcoming.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and community activities.
• Deliver personalized support that promotes comfort, dignity, and independence.

What We’re Looking For

• A valid driver’s license, an insured vehicle, and a willingness to drive clients
• CNA or HCA certification required
• Prefer a high school degree or GED
• One year or more of experience supporting older adults
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be available for Day Shift and Short Shifts
• Clear background check and drug test
• Comfortable working around pets (dogs and cats)
