Job summary

Society Coffee Bar is seeking a dependable Daytime Chef to prepare breakfast and lunch items, learn the full menu, and maintain consistent quality and presentation. You will follow modifications and allergy notes, complete prep, stocking, and cleaning tasks, and keep the kitchen clean and sanitary.

Team communication with shift leads and front-of-house is essential. Ideal candidates are punctual, organized, and able to work well in a fast-paced cafe environment, with basic food safety knowledge

Qualifications

• Prior kitchen, café, or food-preparation experience preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Willingness to assist wherever needed

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast and lunch menu items according to our recipes and standards
• Learn the full menu and maintain consistency in quality, portioning, and presentation
• Follow customer modifications, substitutions, and allergy notifications carefully
• Complete prep work, stocking, and cleaning duties throughout each shift
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
• Communicate effectively with shift leads and front-of-house employees
• Follow all instructions and complete assigned shift checklists
