Job summary

Convive Brands is hiring an Assistant General Manager in New York. You will lead from the floor, coach the team, and ensure top‑notch hospitality while balancing financial performance.

The role supports the General Manager and aims for future GM opportunities across a portfolio of brands including California Pizza Kitchen and Little Beet. We seek 2+ years of restaurant leadership, a passion for hospitality, and ability to manage labor, costs, and guest experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant leadership experience.
• Able to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• NYC Food Handlers License required.
• Proficiency in Spanish, French, or Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the floor during service to coach and support the team.
• Own the guest experience from arrival to departure and resolve issues with empathy.
• Develop people and culture, fostering a valued and accountable team environment.
• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, develop, and retain a high‑performing restaurant team.
• Open, service, and close with consistent execution and strong shift communication.
• Own labor deployment to balance guest experience, productivity, and finances.
• Contribute to P&L performance through sales, labor, and COGS metrics.
