Clean Team in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Daytime Area Manager to oversee commercial cleaning accounts in Kentwood and the Greater Grand Rapids area. You will lead cleaning teams, visit customer sites, and ensure each building meets cleaning standards.

This role requires strong organizational skills, hands-on leadership, and the ability to juggle tasks at multiple locations. You will train staff, resolve service concerns, and build lasting relationships with customers while traveling between

Qualifications

• Experience in management, supervision, or team leadership.
• Experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, facilities, hospitality, retail, or logistics is a plus.
• Good communication and people skills.
• Strong time management and organization skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to take a hands-on approach.
• Ability to work occasional weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support commercial cleaning employees.
• Train new hires and help staff improve their skills.
• Visit customer sites and check the quality of cleaning work.
• Make sure each account meets company and customer standards.
• Build strong relationships with customers.
• Answer customer questions and resolve service concerns.
• Create work schedules and arrange staff coverage.
• Track cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Help solve staffing and service issues.
• Make sure employees follow safety rules and use cleaning chemicals correctly.
• Travel between customer sites in the West Michigan area.
• Help with special projects and weekend coverage when needed.
