Clean Team in Mt. Pleasant, MI is seeking an Area Manager to oversee evening-driven cleaning operations across Mid-Michigan.

You will manage site leads and cleaning staff, conduct quality inspections, maintain client relationships, and ensure facility standards are consistently met with a focus on safety and efficiency. This full-time role emphasizes hands-on leadership, scheduling, and ongoing team training.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory or team management experience in cleaning/janitorial or related fields.
• Valid driver's license with reliable vehicle and clean driving record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily janitorial activities across multiple client facilities with QA inspections.
• Onboard, train, and mentor cleaning staff and site leads.
• Coordinate team schedules and ensure full service coverage.
• Monitor equipment and inventory, reorder supplies as needed.
• Serve as primary client contact to address inquiries and feedback.
• Enforce safety guidelines, OSHA/HAZCOM, and PPE protocols.
