Job summary

kdc/one Chatsworth is seeking an experienced payroll professional to manage payroll processing and reporting for multiple groups in California. You will ensure payroll accuracy, respond to tax authorities, and stay compliant with wage and hour regulations.

Dayforce expertise is REQUIRED, with at least five years of payroll experience and a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; this is a full-time, on-site role in Los Angeles/Chatsworth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of payroll experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Experience with Dayforce payroll system.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local wage and hour laws.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll for assigned pay groups and coordinate with HR.
• Ensure timely reporting of wages, taxes and benefits to employees and agencies.
• Respond to IRS and state inquiries pertaining to payroll taxes and wages.
• Reconcile Quarters and W-2s for all companies.
• Train managers on Dayforce for accurate payroll processing.
• Stay current with California wage and hour laws.
• Handle garnishments and regulatory compliance.
