The Daytime Custodian will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all areas of the facility to ensure a positive member experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, fitness equipment, and gym floors.
• Stock locker rooms with proper supplies and paper products.
• Report any broken or missing amenities or equipment (toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment, etc.) to the Club Manager.
• Follow the “Lost and Found Policy” and turn in lost member property to the Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager immediately.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Custodial experience is preferred.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential.
• Ability to work the first shift (6 a.m. - 2 p.m. or 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.) is required.
• Honesty and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to solve problems independently.
• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions, using appropriate behavior and language.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical Demands

• Continuous standing and walking during shifts.
• Continuous reaching with hands, fingers, and arms.
• Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching.
• Occasionally lift over 80 pounds.
• Occasional exposure to toxic chemicals.
