Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Welder for the 1st shift at the Hodges, SC facility. The role involves setting up and welding a variety of metals, reading drawings, and working with robotic welders and specialized equipment.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, with a salary around $22.83 per hour and eligibility for a variable incentive program. Responsibilities include ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining safety standards, and using calipers and gauges for precise measurements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Welding Certification/Diploma in Basic Welding from an accredited institution.
• No relocation benefit; candidates within 50-mile radius of Hodges, SC area considered.

Responsibilities

• Set up and perform metal joining and cutting operations on ferrous and nonferrous metals.
• Weld parts using proper machine settings, rods/wires, and gas selections.
• Operate various welding equipment and robotic welders as required.
• Follow environment, health, safety guidelines and 5S+ practices.
• Input data into the required data collection system.
