Job summary

Eaton Corporation's Hodges, SC facility is seeking a Fabrication Technician II on the 2nd shift to prepare aluminum and copper busbars for assembly. The role requires operating manual presses, grinders, and tape equipment to support the epoxy stage and may involve gathering materials for various work centers.

Responsibilities include following EHS and 5S+ standards, data entry into production systems, reading drawings, and using calipers and gauges to verify parts to tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No visa sponsorship; candidates within a 50-mile radius preferred.
• SC Manufacturing Certification (SCMC) or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual presses, hand grinders, and taping equipment for busbar prep.
• Enter data into the production control system accurately.
• Set up and operate heavy machinery (Weidamatics, Optishear, band saws, drill presses).
• Maintain 5S+ in the work area and follow EHS guidelines.
