Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Hodges, SC is hiring a Welder – 1st Shift. The role involves setting up and performing welding on ferrous/nonferrous metals using various equipment and robot welders. Core hours are 7:30 am–3:30 pm, with a $22.83 hourly rate and eligibility for a variable incentive program.

Responsibilities include following safety guidelines, reading drawings, and producing certified welds. Ideal candidates have HS diploma and welding certs, with blueprint-reading and ERP/AS-400 familiarity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Welding certification or diploma from an accredited program.
• Must be within 50 miles of Hodges, SC work location.
• Not eligible for visa sponsorship for this role.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety guidelines in EH&S.
• Sustain 5S+ in the area for workspace organization.
• Receive work assignments from supervisor or control system.
• Input data into the data collection system as required.
• Follow drawings and instructions to weld parts.
• Weld and fabricate fixtures to aid welding process.
• Measure and align materials to drawings.
• Weld, grind, and finish parts to spec.
• Perform routine machinery maintenance and checks.
