Job summary

GEODIS is hiring for a warehouse-related role in Riverside, CA. The position involves tracking hours, directing warehouse teams, coordinating schedules and labor for rework and cycle counts, and ensuring safe handling of goods.

Employees will also load, unload, pick, and prepare products for shipment using proper equipment. Candidates should have warehouse equipment experience, proficiency with Microsoft Excel, and the ability to read, write, and interpret standard work documents.

Qualifications

• 2 years related experience and/or training.
• Experience with warehouse equipment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Synapse training preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple reports and correspondence.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Responsibilities

• Track employee hours and provide feedback to management.
• Direct a team of employees for one or more accounts in warehouse.
• Coordinate shipping schedules, labor requirements for rework projects, and cycle counts.
• Unload and move inbound freight safely to storage locations.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment with exact quantity and type.
• Perform picking duties meeting customer and company standards.
• Move and load product into trailers using appropriate equipment.
• Operate equipment safely following procedures.
• Assist supervisory personnel in overseeing activities across accounts.
• Assist in training Operators and maintain equipment cleanliness.
