Job summary

Sysco is hiring for a night-shift warehouse associate to build palletized orders by hand and stage them at outbound doors. You will operate a reach forklift and other MHE in freezer, cooler, and dry environments, following PWMs and safety rules.

You must complete forklift certification, be able to lift up to 50-100 pounds, and work well with a team to meet productivity targets in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass a functional capacity test.
• Must work effectively in a team environment.
• Must communicate effectively with supervision, management and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Build less than full pallet quantity orders by hand.
• Stage orders at outbound loading lanes for fulfillment.
• Operate forklifts and other MHE safely according to PWMs.
• Inspect products for shortages, damage, or deterioration.
• Secure pallets with shrink wrap and label products accurately.
• Use RF equipment to locate products and retrieve items accurately.
• Rotate stock to ensure older items are moved forward (FIFO).
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and report safety issues promptly.
• Complete forklift operator certification and related PWMs.
