Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is hiring for a warehouse associate in Danville, IL. You will hand-build pallets and load trailers, following company and customer standards. The pay is $22.00 per hour base, plus a freezer incentive, with a Sunday–Friday schedule.

Day shift starts between 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. Four 10-hour shifts with Saturdays and two weekdays off. Other duties include operating forklifts and pallet jacks, maintaining safety, and communicating with supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No prior warehouse experience required; training provided.
• Forklift and pallet jack license/certification required.

Responsibilities

• Reads pick sheets and travels to warehouse locations using a pallet jack.
• Picks product, labels, and places on pallets, then loads pallets onto trucks per standards.
• Handles products following food safety procedures and checks for damage.
• Maintains clean and safe warehouse, handles spills and trash properly.
