Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Dallas seeks a Warehouse Team Lead to supervise all warehouse floor activities, coordinating operations and ensuring efficient processes. You will lead a team, allocate tasks, and maintain safety and quality standards in a dynamic logistics environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, planning, and continuous improvement, with opportunities for professional growth within a major global 3PL. The position is day-shift and on-site at the Dallas facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4 years related warehouse experience.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Forklift Driver Certification.
• Ability to drive and operate forklift, hand truck and pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
• Plan the daily work schedule by reviewing existing work orders, arrival notices and instructions from customers.
• Assess priorities based on time sensitivity and available resources.
• Assign duties appropriate to warehouse staff.
• Train new staff in assigned duties and quality management activities or delegates training responsibilities to experienced specialist.
• Assign selective supervisory tasks as needed to experienced specialists acting as leads for lower level warehouse staff.
• Keep abreast of progress on problems.
• Communicate with operations manager regarding progress and problems or issues on a daily basis.
• Hold regular meetings with warehouse staff to assess group’s overall status.
• Provide responsible supervision and control for all department activities.
• Conduct annual performance reviews for all staff within the department and address all employee performance problems promptly and directly in accordance with personnel policies of the company.
