Job summary

civil-recruit is seeking a Storeroom Attendant to perform daily receiving, stocking, issuing and cycle counting at a customer site. The role requires fork-lift experience preferred, compliance with safety rules, and strong attention to detail.

You will operate a computerized inventory system and assist with cycle counts for accurate stock levels. Hours are typically Monday–Friday with possible Saturday OT; temp-to-hire.

Qualifications

• 3+ months relevant experience in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift/cherry picker experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Basic computer knowledge; MS-Office and system data entry to maintain stock records.
• Demonstrated math skills (rates, ratios, decimals) optional.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Team oriented and self-motivated to complete tasks.
• Attention to detail and safety minded.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs or more; stand/walk for long periods.
• May require forklift certifications and protective equipment usage.
• Shifts may vary and overtime could be required.

Responsibilities

• Unloads, receives and stores incoming product; checks for damage and discrepancies.
• Sorts and stores items on racks or bins per product codes and size.
• Issues inventory to site employees and maintains records of issued items.
• Enters stock data into a computerized system and responds to inquiries.
• Requests replenishments and assists with cycle counts and inventory reports.
• Inspects tools and equipment for wear; reports damage to supervisors.
• Delivers tools/equipment to work locations and locates misplaced items.
• Performs other related duties as requested.
