Job summary

Storeroom Attendant at Civil Recruit is an individual contributor role based at a customer location, handling daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting of inventory. The position involves data entry, adherence to safety policies, and working in a small team environment.

Hours are Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm with potential overtime. 6-month temp assignment; forklift experience is a plus, as is basic computer knowledge. Steel toe shoes are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ months relevant experience and/or training.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).
• Forklift/cherry picker experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unloads, receives and puts away incoming product, goods, tools and/or equipment; unpacks bales, crates, and other containers; checks for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
• Accurately sorts, labels, moves and stores items; places material on racks, shelves, or in bins according to size, style, or product codes.
• Issues product, goods, tools and/or equipment to site employees; documents and maintains accurate records for issued and returned items.
• Enters data into a database or other computerized system to maintain stock records; retrieves information to respond to inquiries such as inventory levels or delivery schedules.
• Documents discrepancies on an error log and seeks management advice on corrective action.
• Performs cycle counts and assists with inventory level maintenance; prepares report results.
