Job summary

The Gund Company is hiring for a full-time Utility Operator II on first shift in Cedar Lake, IN. This role involves setting up and operating production equipment, performing manual assembly, and ensuring products meet specifications for customers.

We offer a competitive hourly wage of $24+ based on experience plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus at 30 days. The plant environment is non-climate-controlled with PPE and overtime opportunities to support production needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Experience with saws, shears, or similar equipment.
• Strong basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools.
• Flexibility to work overtime and adapt to emergency production needs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production equipment such as saws, shears, and other machinery.
• Perform manual assembly and fabrication tasks using hand tools as required.
• Inspect products to ensure they meet quality and customer standards.
• Assist with troubleshooting and routine maintenance on production equipment.
