Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc is hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist for a full-time day-shift position at our Memphis urology center. The role involves preparing the OR, assisting surgeons, and ensuring sterile technique throughout procedures. No on-call, nights, weekends, or holidays.

Requirements include an accredited surgical technologist program graduate, BLS certification, and certification; one year of urology/cystoscopy experience is preferred. Benefits are available to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• Certified and BLS certified.
• Prefer one year of surgical experience with Urology and cystoscopy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment for procedures.
• Set up operating room with sterile drapes and supplies.
• Assist during pre-op and post-op patient care under supervision.
• Position patients, apply sterile drapes, and ensure patient safety.
• Pass instruments to surgeons and assist with counts of supplies.
• Clean and restock the operating room after procedures.
