Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a full-time 32-hour per week position at our Memphis, TN location.

The role involves scrub and operating room support under surgeon supervision, with a comprehensive benefits package and a Monday–Friday day shift schedule with rotating late days. The candidate should have graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program, current certification, and BLS.

Qualifications

• A graduate of an accredited Surgical technologist program.
• Certification and BLS required.
• Prefer one year of surgical experience with Urology and especially Cystoscopy.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures.
• Sets up instruments, sterile drapes, and solutions before operations.
• Tends to patients and follows hospital procedures during pre-operation activities.
• Performs pre-operation skin and equipment preparations.
• Assembles sterile and non-sterile equipment and checks functionality.
• Gets patients ready for surgery and disinfects incision sites.
• Transports patients to the operating room and assists with positioning.
• Observes vital signs and assists the team with gowns and gloves.
• Passes instruments to surgeons and assists with counting supplies.
• Operates sterilizers, lights, suction machines, and related equipment.
• Assists with post-operative transfer and operating room restocking.
