Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of healthcare scheduling experience.
• Experience with electronic scheduling software highly preferred.
• Proficiency with computer applications, Microsoft Excel, and the ability to quickly learn new software.
• Strong customer service, telephone etiquette, and verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy items; bend, stoop, kneel, reach, stand, walk, push/pull carts, and climb stairs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and adjust nursing staff schedules to ensure staffing levels and coverage.
• Coordinate time-off requests, fill shifts, and manage overtime and incentives with nursing leadership.
• Monitor attendance, timekeeping, and scheduling compliance; report trends to leadership and HR.
• Maintain staffing records, daily sheets, classifications, and payroll approvals; ensure licensing and training requirements are met.
• Coordinate orientation and training for new nursing staff; liaise with shifts and staffing agencies for coverage.
• Provide backup support to Central Supply, including inventory and daily operations.
