Job summary

Allied Universal in Hagerstown, MD is seeking a Security Officer for Patrol Operations. This full-time, unarmed role involves conducting routine rounds, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers.

You will respond to security concerns, monitor access, document incidents, and collaborate with a team to uphold company standards. Minimum requirements include security experience, a HS diploma, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted.
• A valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entry/exit activity and verifying credentials, documenting visitor activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm problem-solving and proper documentation.
• Support the orderly movement of trucks, trailers, and personnel by observing traffic flow and reporting concerns.
