Job summary
Kindred Hospital St. Louis South is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a 38-bed long-term acute care environment. The position requires a nursing degree and active RN license, with at least six months of medical/surgical experience preferred. The role includes developing care plans, administering medication, and communicating effectively with clinical staff. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered, and candidates must possess BCLS certification, with ACLS being a plus.
Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program.
Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.
BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
Minimum six months’ Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
Responsibilities
Provides direct and indirect patient care through nursing process.
Develops nursing care plans in coordination with patient, family, and staff.
Communicates changes in patient’s condition with appropriate personnel.
Documents patient assessments and care plans accurately.
