Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med Surg General Surgery unit. This full-time position offers a 36-hour weekly schedule with a night shift from 7:00am to 7:00pm and provides a $10,000 sign-on bonus for new graduates or $20,000 for RNs with 1+ years of experience.

Applicants should be graduates of an accredited nursing program and must hold or obtain MO RN licensure (or compact licensure). BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire.

• RN license in MO or compact licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for care provided to assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and evaluates care effectiveness.
