Qualifications

• Must have active healthcare provider BLS on hire; AHA BLS within 60 days.
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention obtained within 60 days of hire or transfer.
• Preferred: Nurse Assistant, EMT, Paramedic or Medical Assisting coursework.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care under RN supervision.
• Care for patients across units including maternal/child, pediatric, emergency and surgical.
• Complete established competencies within the introductory period.
