Qualifications

• BSN required; current IL RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration ability.
• ADN acceptable with commitment to obtain BSN within three years of employment.
• Additional ER/Pediatric/Non-Invasive Cardiology requirements may apply as listed.
• Trauma/Nurse specialist and emergency certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes data, develops and implements an individualized plan of care.
• Directs care and utilizes assistants as needed.
• Collaborates with patient, family, physicians and staff; documents the plan and outcomes.
• Participates in shared governance and unit projects.
• Evaluates patient responses and documents health-record updates.
• Uses best available evidence to guide practice decisions.
