Job summary

Eisenhower Health is hiring an experienced RN for the Nursing Administration department. Provides direct patient care, collaborates with the care team, and participates in discharge planning and education. BSN or enrollment in RN-BSN/MSN programs is required within specified timelines; California RN licensure and BLS are mandatory on hire.

ACLS, PALS, or other certifications may be required by department; one year of acute care experience preferred. Sign-on bonus eligible for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• One year of acute care RN experience or completion of Eisenhower’s Nurse Residency Program preferred: specialty experience a plus.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking and patient-centered care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and collaborate with patients, families, peers, physicians and health-care team.
• Lead and participate in multidisciplinary care planning to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Perform ongoing assessments, document findings and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient education.
• Maintain compliance with Code of Conduct and hospital policies.
