Eisenhower Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Resource Nursing Pool on the night shift. The role involves providing patient care under RN direction, taking vital signs, assisting with mobility, and maintaining safety and cleanliness in patient rooms.

Requirements include high school diploma or equivalent, California CNA certification if hired after 2016, or a qualifying nursing program; BLS is required. 36 hours weekly; pay is hourly in a full-time schedule.

Formación

• High school diploma, GED or higher level degree if hired after June 6, 2022.
• CA CNA certification required if hired after April 10, 2016; or ADN/ASN/BSN or LVN completion.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and policies; reports concerns.
• Obtains vital signs: temperature, pulse, respirations, BP and pain level.
• Documents abnormal values and changes to RN per policy; notes patient changes.
• Performs AM and HS hygiene per standard.
• Positions and ambulates patients per care plan; assists RN with mobility.
• Documents intake/output and daily weights; relays to RN; accurate records.
• Assists with setup and/or feedings of patients.
• Communicates with RN before leaving the unit for any reason.
• Assists with equipment storage, carts and supplies.
• Observes all isolation procedures and regulations.
• Provides safe patient environment; prevents falls; verifies patient ID.
• Adheres to shift report guidelines with RN.
• Performs patient rounds at least hourly.
• Maintains tidiness of patient rooms.
• Completes continuing education as assigned.
• Performs duties under the supervision of the RN.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
