Job summary

OhioHealth in Ohio seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the continuum in a Behavioral Health department. This role supports a 24/7/365 operation with a formal nursing care plan, assessment, and coordination with a multidisciplinary team.

The position is full-time, 36 hours per week, Day shift 7a-7p, with eligible weekend/shift differential. Requires Ohio RN license, BLS, and BSN within 5 years of employment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Ohio (or multi-state compact) in good standing.
• BLS certification.
• BSN within 5 years of employment; ADN required as base qualification.

Responsibilities

• Assess/diagnose and perform initial and ongoing nursing assessments; develop and revise care plans.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions to meet patient needs and outcomes.
• Document interventions and coordinate with multidisciplinary team to revise plans of care.
• Lead process improvements to enhance clinical quality, patient safety, and efficiency.
• Delegate tasks to LPNs/UAPs per Ohio Nurse Practice Act; ensure safety and compliance.
