Job summary

Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, OK seeks a day-shift, full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our patient-focused team. You will be responsible for ECG/rhythm monitoring, oxygen therapy, and ventilator checks, while delivering compassionate care.

Required qualifications include an accredited respiratory therapy program, NBRC credential (RRT or eligible), Oklahoma license, BLS within 14 days, and ACLS within 6 months. Join a hospital committed to growth and excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program with NBRC credential (RRT preferred or eligible).
• Active Oklahoma Respiratory Care Professional License.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer; ACLS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, run and log routine ECG and rhythm strips.
• Prepare and administer oxygen therapy via nasal cannulae, masks, venturi, non-rebreathers and high-flow systems.
• Administer aerosol therapies if nursery trained (bland aerosols, Ezpap, small volume nebulizers).
• Perform and teach Incentive Spirometry.
• Interpret and report vital signs and pulse oximetry as indicated.
• Perform postural drainage and percussion.
• Perform ventilator monitoring checks and adjust circuits as needed.
• Observe confidentiality and maintain ethical standards in patient information.
