Job summary

Hillcrest HealthCare System in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day-shift, full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The role involves preparing, running and logging ECG/rhythm strips, administering oxygen therapy, and conducting ventilator monitoring and related care.

Required qualifications include an AS degree in respiratory therapy with NBRC RRT eligibility/credential within 6 months, Oklahoma license, and BLS with ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• AS degree in respiratory therapy; NBRC credential as RRT within 6 months and OK license.
• BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire; ACLS within 6 months.
• Active Oklahoma Respiratory Care Professional License as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, run and log ECG and rhythm strips.
• Administer oxygen therapy with various devices and pressures.
• Perform Incentive Spirometry and postural drainage.
• Conduct ventilator monitoring and adjust circuits as needed.
• Interpret vital signs, arterial blood gases and breath sounds.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional ethics.
