Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is a requirement for every RN unless ACLS certification is current.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing highly preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of the discipline.

Responsibilities

• Uses the Nursing Process for patient care from Admission to Discharge.
• Performs patient assessment/reassessment as per standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates individual plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the assigned setting.
• Administers medications and assists physician with procedures as required.
• Participates in Nursing Governance activities.
• Demonstrates commitment to quality improvement in daily operations.
