Job summary

Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a CA-accredited facility. The RN will perform all steps of the nursing process, coordinate care with other providers, and educate patients and families to promote safe, effective self-care.

The role requires 1+ year nursing experience in acute care, strong communication, and adherence to hospital policies and C-I-CARE standards. California licensure and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing required.
• 1+ year to 2 years of acute care RN experience required.
• Strong communication skills in English; reading, writing, speaking.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced hospital setting.
• Knowledge of California Nursing Practice Act and current standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients by collecting and documenting data through interviewing, history taking, and exams.
• Create, implement and evaluate care plans aligned with standards of care.
• Coordinate care with other providers and educate patients and families.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes; document findings.
• Attend department meetings and support hospital goals; uphold C-I-CARE standards.
