This role involves delivering direct clinical care with a focus on rapid assessment, stabilization, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Ideal candidates will have a Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy degree and be residency trained in Psychiatry.

Qualifications

• Current Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited school of medicine.
• Residency and/or Fellowship trained in Psychiatry.
• Fellowship trained in Child & Adolescence Psychiatry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients presenting to the psychiatric emergency center.
• Develop and implement stabilization and treatment plans.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care to optimize patient outcomes.

Skills

Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in the use of electronic health records (EHR)

Education
