Job summary

The Psychiatric Emergency Center (PEC) Physician at JPS Health Network/Acclaim Health in Fort Worth provides rapid psychiatric assessment, stabilization, and disposition planning in a high-acuity, fast-paced setting. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, evidence-based care.

You will also support quality, safety, and operational excellence while mentoring residents and advanced practice providers, contributing to patient flow and effective outcomes.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited school of medicine.
• Residency and/or Fellowship trained in Psychiatry.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients in the PEC.
• Develop stabilization and treatment plans in a high-acuity environment.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care to optimize patient outcomes.
• Supervise and mentor psychiatric staff and trainees.
• Support patient flow, crisis intervention, and disposition planning.
• Participate in Performance Improvement and Peer Review activities.
