Job summary

Acclaim Health is expanding its Psychiatric Emergency Center in Fort Worth, TX. The Advanced Practice Provider will join a multidisciplinary team delivering 24/7 crisis evaluation and care, working nights to manage high patient volumes with physicians, nurses, social workers, and support staff.

Ideal candidates hold PMHNP or PA credentials with TX licensure, DEA and BLS, and have at least one year of psychiatric practice. Relocation and comprehensive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing with PMHNP certification OR Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as an advanced practice provider in a psychiatric setting.
• Must have current Texas Physician Assistant license or Texas APRN license with PMHNP certification.
• DEA Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities

• Psychiatric triage and evaluation to determine level of care.
• Short-term interventions including observation, monitoring and stabilization of acute crisis.
• Referral services that meet the needs of the individual person.
• Evaluation for admission to an Acute Inpatient Unit.
• Full-time night shift: 8p–8a with three 12-hour shifts per week, 39 per quarter
