Job summary

Simmons Pet Food, Inc. seeks a production supervisor to lead a frontline team in a fast-paced facility, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will manage scheduling, attendance, and time-off, while applying LEAN concepts to improve throughput and reduce waste.

Collaborating with HR, Maintenance, QA and others, you will drive continuous improvement, maintain USDA/FDA compliance, and promote a cooperative, safe work environment for all staff.

Qualifications

• Leadership and team supervision experience in a production setting.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of front-line employees.
• Communicates effectively to drive productivity and goals.
• Supervises attendance, scheduling, and time-off for direct reports.
• Maintains inventory records and ensures timely procurement of supplies.
• Coordinates with other departments to meet production targets.
