Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing (ADN) or Diploma RN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN License or Compact License deemed by the OK State Board of Nursing.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications must be obtained within specified timelines after hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Directs and coordinates all nursing care for medical/surgical patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
• Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
• Serves in a resource role when oriented and as directed.
• Supports the organization’s vision and mission.
• Utilizes knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity in patient care.
• Contributes to quality nursing care through performance improvement to demonstrate positive patient outcomes.
