Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Tulsa, OK seeks a day shift, full-time Pre and Post-Op Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive nursing care for medical/surgical patients. The role requires an ADN or Diploma RN, active RN license, and BLS. ACLS and PALS must be completed within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Diploma RN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN License or Compact License deemed by the OK State Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS within 60 days of hire.
• PALS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Direct and coordinate all nursing care for medical/surgical patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
• Serve in a resource role when oriented and as directed.
• Support the organization’s vision and mission.
• Utilize knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care.
• Contribute to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
